The longest books on my to-read list | #T5W

We’re back with another Top 5 Wednesday post! Today, I’m talking about the longest books on my to-read list. I recently talked about the longest books I have read, now I’m talking about the ones I still haven’t read.

The Way of Kings (Stormlight Archive #1) by Brandon Sanderson – 1258 pages
Okay, I need to read this in the next 3 months. I’m committing to that RIGHT NOW.

The Wise Man’s Fear (Kingkiller Chronicles #2) by Patrick Rothfuss – 1107 pages
I desperately need to read this one too, but I’ve forgotten everything about the first one already. I hope the Recaptains wrote a summary on this one, because there’s no way I’m re-reading it first.

Kushiel’s Dart (Phèdre’s trilogy #1) by Jacqueline Carey – 1015 pages
I’m kind of surprised this is so long! I didn’t even realize it when I was holding it earlier…

Tigana by Guy Gavriel Kay– 676 pages
I bought this one a couple of years ago during a sale in my favorite bookstore, and I still haven’t read it. It’s so long, but I’ve always wanted to read some Guy Gavriel Kay.

Magician (Riftwar Saga #1-2) by Raymond E. Feist – 841 pages
I guess this is cheating because it’s a bind-up of two books? However, it seems like one book when it’s sitting on my shelf.

Someone give me some motivation to finally read these!
What are the longest books on your unread shelf?

  1. The way of kings is one of my all time favorites! At the first 100 pages it was a bit hard to get into, but after that I was hooked!! I wanted to be more than 1500! I didn’t want to finish it!
